Re: With regret
The great welcome in level 4 can be solved strafing and making use of the ice shards, I considered it hard but can live with it. The feeling of difficulty is leveled up because the previous aracnoids.

Faster, yes, but faster doesn't necessarily mean "you can never end up with a mob happening to get to move right after your move."The_ShadoW wrote:Except that your party can move several times faster than mobs. Say we start with:
Code: Select all
...
...
H..
PH.
...

And your not..Do you think anything is solved by jumping in, and starting an exchange of ..I dont like what you said,....Well I don't care... Well now I'm mad...Well now I am mad to.dark wrote:regomar wrote:I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the game, it's really quite good. Fighting around the mobs takes a little practice, but it's ultimately not that hard, just practice it. You can;t win the game by standing tow to toe with things, you simply cannot advance that way.
You know, honestly, I too would have preferred a turn-based crawler, I'm more of a Wizardry fan than a Dungeon master fan, but this is the game the devs wanted to make.
I'd suggest you keep trying, but if you aren't enjoying yourself I don't suppose there's a reason to continue.
Regomar, you really are severally lacking in common sense. You just don’t get it do you? For some reason, even here and now with this guy telling the devs that he’s having issues because of limitations on himself, and you because you are so self indulged just can’t fathom that there are certain issues that are hard for people. Instead of clamoring on about how great you are. How about showing some compassion for those who are not as fortunate.
Thats just keeps it going with absolutely nothing being solved.

I don't think much has to be said about the good old "l2p". It's not a hidden object adventure, it's not Dear Esther, it's an oldschool dungeon with a modern twist - you are expected to have at least basic control skills to play it. If you don't have those, you must be suffering in many other game genres and it's about time you "l2p" - by trial and error, practice making perfect. I don't believe the devs should spend any time deviating from their intention to cater to your under-Easy gaming level - how about you simply improve instead? Sorry for being direct, but this is what Bruce Lee would say.

In easy:seebs wrote:I totally need to go try on easy and see how it's different. Do we have any really detailed lists of what changes the difficulty levels make?
- mobs react slower (like almost 3 times slower i think)
- mobs deal less damage
These are the only differences I've spotted so far. They definitely have as much hp as in hard and they have same resistance too. AI seems to be the same too.

Not necessarilly. I consider easier control the free movement of a FPS than the timing movement of an action moment in LoG. Different skill is needed. He can be a genious in other type of game.mystrdat wrote:I don't think much has to be said about the good old "l2p". I was far more 'compassionate' with this OP because he, unlike you, ADMITTED his limitations and that he wasn't good at this style of game. You've just still got your panties in a bunch because you called the game AND the devs failures for making the game in a fashion that YOU personally don;t want t play and THEN said that anyone that disagreed with you was an idiot. And THEN you were completely surprised when even the people agreeing with you before told you that you were being a moron.

Re: With regret
If you think the very beginning of level 4 is a difficult situation, wait till you get to 6 ..Where you are jumped by 3 spiders coming down the 3 rows in front of you. This one requires fast movement , or you will be trapped in a 3 way spider bash.
