Yes, I can confirm that difficulty doesn't matter - I solved the game on easy, and I can unlock the secret too.

Why people do this. (unless casual or disabled) - rush on easy through game, then what - wait for ages for expansion. Why hurry and destroy your own fun.

Well, some of us don't have copious amounts of time. I have about 2 hours per day of "free time", and I still have a queue of a dozen or so games on steam.. and mind me, I've spent some 27 hours on grimrock (not counting the time I've spent on these forums, which is probably double that if not more =)

Anyway, some play games to enjoy the challenge, others play to enjoy the story. For instance. Not only do I pick easy settings in just about every game, I don't have any problems using cheats if a game is simply trying to waste my time with grinding or whatnot.

Yeah, this was my first tile based dungeon crawler, so i wanted to enjoy it

Not play on hard, get to level 3 and have to rage quit =p

I chose easy so no matter how bad i was id enjoy it.

Also i got the party of one play to work

You need a file named "toorum_lives.txt" in the same folder as your savegames. It is (most likely) created when you rez Toorum.

I think the greatest problem here is you won't be getting any more xp than the 4 of you would.

Start a new game, create your own toons, type "Toorum" into the name box, and hit enter

Any changes you made prior to hitting enter are disregarded, and you are presented with a "Stock" Toorum character, with these stats,

This ofcourse means you cant solo play an Air Mage, Or Maces Minotaur, only the stock Toorum.

To unlock the Toorum solo play...
