It's pretty obvious that your playstyle is going to influence this a lot. Some people love to blast through it as quickly as possible, some like to take their time. I'm in the latter camp. Sometimes I'll just sit for a while, sipping my cup of tea, soaking up the atmosphere in a room, or go sort out my inventory, or carefully consider my leveling options. So far I'm 11 hours into the game and at the start of level 5, and I have absolutely no intention of rushing. ;)

I just finished in just under 9 hours with 68/71 secrets, all of Toorum's notes, and 7/7 treasures. Though I'll admit I sped through the first 4 levels fairly quickly as I restarted my game most of the way through level 4 after I realized how bad earth magic was. In my real playthrough I had a pretty strong team (Minotaur/sword fighter, Lizard/unarmed fighter, human/missile thief, insect/ice mage) and knew what I was doing, didn't have too many issues with combat (I was playing on normal).

In total I probably spent closer to 13-15 hours if you include the first playthrough/time spent reloading and whatnot.

Nowhere near finishing it 13-14 hrs on saves more in real time, stuck on level 6 cos of taking an all human party and basically starving, humans eat too much it seems, started another more mixed party too there on level 3-4 already, still gonna try to slog it out with the 4 humans but unless i luck out and find some food they just get mullered by the mobs on level 6.
And i dont care, if it takes me months its all good thats my playstyle, gotta find all secrets go back jump down every hole etc.

I played DM and Chaos Strikes Back first time around and took me months, good times so much satisfaction when you get further ahead.

Everyone has a different way of enjoying these style of games and this game seems to cater to many diverse players.

Almost Human i salute you .

I am playing on hard difficulty with automap on. Situated right at the start of level 3 and 1:52 of playtime. The truth is that my first play session started at 9:00 pm and ended at 2:30 am and my second play through started at 9:00 pm and ended 11:15 pm.
7:45 hours enjoying, taking notes, screenshots, quoting on the map and exploring every nook and cranny in just a pair of levels ¡

12+ hours, pre-made party, 1st time and on Level 8. This game is the most brilliant thing I've played in ages, can't stop thinking about it.

Yeah I was disappointed with it myself, to many enemies are immune. I much prefer Ice. My mage has some of both, in a replay I wouldn't bother with earth at all.

I'm on level 10/11 and I have a little over 20 hours logged on normal difficulty. The game hasn't been easy but I check most of the walls for buttons and levers. I've probably lost about 5 hours from dying without saving.

I finished the game earlier today and the statistic says 19hrs 40min, Steam says 28hrs. Pretty sure I didn't go away from the PC for 8 hours, without turning it off. :P
Seems like the in-game counter really is slower.
