Is Seeker of Secrets actually obtainable?
Is Seeker of Secrets actually obtainable?
Hello,
I've been wandering deserted dungeon for what feels like forever in search of the last secret (I have 70/71). And I decided to check how many people actually got the achievement and steam global stats shows 0%
Is that last secret actually obtainable? I have no idea where to look, I've been through all the dungeon around 3-4 times.

There are 3 rooms. Containing bombs, wand and sack of potions. They're not secret.
Re: Is Seeker of Secrets actually obtainable?
So far I've found 3 questionable things:
At level 5 pit-room (the one where there's like 20 pits that you can walk over using certain path) there's some hole in a ceiling. Not sure what is that about, but there's no way to fall through it from level 4.
At level 12, plate on which the cube was standing. I guess it just spawns monsters though.
At level 13, small button in the corner of the room near the portal. Not sure whether it did something before that (unlocking portal maybe), just can't remember.

The gamebanshee Grimrock guide says to save the eye from the blind puzzle on the first floor for a secret at the end of the game.
Is there maybe three spots to put gems on the final boss?
The green from the slimes, the blue from the first puzzle, the red from floor (10?)?
I have 70/71 and I can't figure it out either. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: For sure the red gem from floor 10 does not work, just loaded a save and tried it.
I wonder why they wanted you to save that blue gem though, I'm not sure what it is.

Well just to mention that you have to consider that probably a lot of people bought it not on steam.
Like myself i play the GoG version of it mainly because i think such a game is in need of a DRM Free version unlike in Steam where it is bound to my Account wich i will not share

I have all gems on me. No idea where you can use them. So he's either referring to something irrelevant (like that red gem irondoor), or I'm missing something incredibly obvious. Either way, he would've mentioned it in his walkthrough. Gotta wait for the last page I guess. I'm out of options.Khildith wrote:The gamebanshee Grimrock guide says to save the eye from the blind puzzle on the first floor for a secret at the end of the game.

Re: Is Seeker of Secrets actually obtainable?
I bought it directly from the Grimrock website and they give you a DRM free version and a Steam key, best of both worlds. Although I did buy the game an additional three times on steam to gift to friends and family, because I figured the developers deserved the cash.meeporized wrote:Well just to mention that you have to consider that probably a lot of people bought it not on steam.

On another note: I went back and collected all the gems in the game and have them on me on floor 12 now, waiting for an answer of what to do with them though.

Would you believe I was missing the exact same secret? What are the chances?
Probably one of the least obvious secrets in the game though.
