yeah, like what the title says. Who lights all those torches we find around the dungeons? Who goes around and replaces the old torches and lights up the new ones?

Good question I asked the same question in Skyrim, but there you can make it more realistic with a darkness mod. Don't think it would work well in this game though, but would be interesting to try!

It's also interesting that torches seem to burn forever on walls, but burn out when you take them! Madness!

I'd like a mod which turn all torches off and gives you the ability to ignite them for a limited time, would add a ton to the atmosphere and makes playing on hard on the spider level even more "fun". =D

Burned out torches can be put back on the walls and they burn again.

I find myself swapping torches as I go along... seems to work well.

Yes, you see giant snail mucus is flammable, once dried. Snails instinctively glob some on to burnt out torches, then when dried they rub them against their shells, lighting them like matches. That's why the ones you carry burn out, 'cause the snails that approach you get hacked to pieces.
