Im sorry, but this "puzzle" is about obtuse as it comes(at least thus far)
The wording on the scrolls is HORRIBLE "two times left she slithers" how does this mean FORWARDS on the left side? it makes no logical sense to make it even worse, it doesnt even count on the scroll the movements between the left and the right side, this game and puzzles have been great thus far, so it just seems weird for it to suddenly be like this.
I dont know, maybe im overreacting, but the wording just made 0 sense to me, and ive had no trouble thus far with puzzle wording, maybe a gate would have helped here?(to know where to start counting?) when i read this scroll, i thought it meant move left move right, you know, like it says. I was pretty much forced to look the answer to this up
For me the puzzle was clear as day. On the other hand what really pissed me off in level 9, is the fact that

you need to clear all the 3 shelves for the path forward to open. As one of the items was a scroll I had already seen, I left it there in the beginning so it took me quite a while to get to level 10.

I think when I read from the scroll that one of the moves was three squares, I figured out that it meant on which sides you progress forwards, not about rotation, etc.
