Average Age ...
Re: Average Age ...
38 approaching 18 again after playing this game.
Re: Average Age ...
What would make a interesting survey, would be to see if those new to dungeon crawlers rated LOG higher than the old school players, or, vice-versa.
Dungeon Legend about the Master of Grimrock
Re: Average Age ...
37 years.
Have played dungeon master and chaos strikes back when they were on Atari ST and amiga.
Did not much like eye of beholder series, but played them too.
Is anyone here that played Chaos strikes back with resurrected characters?
Damn that was fun. Made characters that could withstand dragons firebreath standing still and still kill those bastards.
Link for a good remake of DM / CSB / DM2, if interested.

42 yrs old and still loving this type of game couldn't wait once I heard someone was making an old school crawler.
Re: Average Age ...
OMG I forgot about that feature! That. Was. Awesome. Is anyone here that played Chaos strikes back with resurrected characters?
To this day, when I see a game sequel, in the back of my head I wonder, "can you import characters from the previous episode?"
Re: Average Age ...

Re: Average Age ...
37 here.
Amazed by Dungeon Master (DOS version), loved Eye of the Beholder (second is still the best) and Dungeon Hack (a sort of pre-introduction to roguelikes) continued with the two Ultima Underworld (and second is the best again), and the various Elder Scrolls, and approached various roguelikes (Nethack, ADOM and many others)
And this game is a faithful legacy to the old dungeon crawlers!
