Fighters Challenge Level 6

Near the hall of flames place there a secret brick with a symbol on it. It leads down to a stairway that ends at a wooden door and an incription called 'Fighters Challenge'...any ideas? Can't get that damn door open

this is what worked for me... not sure if it will work for you, since i've heard lots of crazy talk from lots of people.

just sit tight in front of the door for a few secs... time it 10 secs...

if nothing happens... try coming back sometime later

Jesus?! I was guessing it was level specific or something but that just seems a tad too random

There are theories that you need:

to have the sword of Nex in possession or equipped

or

SpoilerShow

to have the Fire Sword in possession or equipped

or

SpoilerShow

to have been to level 7 by other means, previously

or a combination of any of those before you try to do what i wrote before.

No one is entirely sure.

I have done all 3 of those and fighters door is still closed. Currently been to floor 9 but still finishing floor 8.

this was solved in another thread. If ANYTHING is on the ground in front of the gate, it will never open. Clear the ground, go back up and come back down. Should fix the problem.

I had to pretty much complete this level, secrets and all, before the door would open for me. No items were blocking anything at any time. Try getting all 4 round keys and opening the iron door. After that try again with the Fighters Challenge.
