Yah maybe later we will have access to it. When the last techno seal is found. Let me know if you find one somewhere. I thought I maybe had 3 early on and reloaded but maybe not.
I have them all from somewhere somehow. With these you can get some other good thing, but its not too much important.
Oh can you remember where the pieces came from? I got them early on 2 of them and then the one in Techno place. I am just passing Dwarves now.

I thought it was complete
One fight will end up with crash, but it is optional fight.

Dont you have game save issues?

so far not yet.
well a few times I have had an issue where when loading it auto crashed so I went back and redid the part I was in.
I keep a minimal amount of save files.
I also have the editor which I think i will use to remove the save data to clean it up.

I am only to Styr Jungle now
When did you start having save game issues?
And around where is this optional fight that crashes?

Still have not found that 4th techno seal... bummer

I have reached to the jungle and at this point it was impossible to play. I mean I was able to play for a while, but not possible to save anymore. And if I continued to play to see whats next then game crashed at some point.
But my problems started much earlier before jungle.

Most of the save issues were gone after I deleted whole redwood mine lvl2 area. My game still crash on save or while on play, but its less frequent and I have script to get notified about that before and so I can save before crash will occur.

Probably something were wrong with me at the early of the game.

Blacksmith, but you need a tool with that you can repair your key. Dont ask where I got that tool :D, but it is recognizable that this tool is for repairing key.

What is the script you are using to check if it will soon crash? Is it a memory checker or something?


I Just got to Ogre Chieftan and WTF!!
Can I damage his 3 fire minions at all to just fight him solo?

Yes, it checks memory usage of grimrock game process. When it exceeds my set value it will notify me. It seems that game needs some free memory while creating save file and I keep some part of memory free for save process.

It still dont like to work very well because with this mod it is not recommended to keep game AFK or minimized for too long time. In this case memory usage may not increase, but something else gonna happen which causes crash. So I keep game closed when not playing.

Ogre chieftan? Which area? Maybe use force fields? :D
