Just checked. Nope, that's not it. The only thing different is that the alcove that doesn't work is to the left of a door. Would that do it?

Re: Useful scripts repository
It shouldn't, and doesn't for me, using the stock [official] doors.
Have you tried erasing it and replacing it? (I assume so.)
Have you moved the door away from the alcove, (or vice versa)?

Re: Useful scripts repository
Okay, I've deleted the alcove and moved it and the problem is now intermittent. Mostly it doesn't work.
It is the strangest thing but not surprising. I suspect is has something to do with my OS as I have bugs in other LoG dungeons that people can't replicate. The oddest one is in Master Quest in the room with 2 doors off to the sides and the door straight ahead and when you open that door, after opening the other 2 and flipping all the necessary levers, you then pick up the key from the alcove and all the walls around it are supposed to open so you can continue on. Well, the first time I played it, it worked fine. Then I updated to Windows 10 and ever since taking the key does not activate the walls.
Very peculiar.

Re: Useful scripts repository
Can you reproduce the problem in a new project?
And if so... upload that project here. People will look at it.
Make a short demo map with everything needed to cause the problem.
Use the map description, and/or a text wall for any instructions.
* No need to spend more than ten minutes on it.

Re: Useful scripts repository
It's surprising how many people don't upload test dungeons to demonstrate bugs.
And it's too bad that you can't attach files to forum posts.
Maybe they don't know any easy-to-use file hosting services?
Which one would you recommend?

Can't I just upload this project?Isaac wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 3:32 pm Can you reproduce the problem in a new project?

Dropbox or Google Drive.
Dropbox is free for a limited account.
IIRC Google Drive is part of having a Google account.
Yes you can... some modders prefer not to upload a map in progress.
The best way is to put the project folder into an archive, and upload that. An easy way to do this on Windows, is to create a new compressed folder (on the desktop), and drag the project folder into it; upload the new ZIP file from the desktop.
Re: Useful scripts repository
Thanks. It's nice that you didn't take for granted that I knew how to do that. Fortunately, I've been zipping and hosting files on my own sites for 24 years now. But I'm gonna throw this on DropBox because it's easier.Isaac wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 8:17 pmDropbox or Google Drive.

Here it is

I made this real easy. I set the starting location right in front of the alcove in question. Simply take the Assassin Dagger out and see if you can put it back in. Should take all of 5 seconds.
