Perhaps somethin for the - hopefully - next dungeons. Shouldnt be to hard to code. And it would be a very nice thing to search for.Draken wrote:I've bumped my mino against any suspicious looking wall... so far all just minor contusions. I dont think there are any illusionary walls either... which makes me a sad sad panda. I loved bumping in the darkness in EotB and whoops! looks like that wasnt a wall after all

Re: Illusory Walls
Ugh, please no illusion walls. They require no thinking, and just mindless walking into walls. One thing EOTB did wrong, as well as a ridiculous amount of ground teleporters.
Re: Illusory Walls
If they're not mandatory, then it's okay to have them. The add an extra flavor to the dungeons and secrets. Place them starting in obvious locations so that player learns how to find them. It's the same as with the hidden switches - you learn to spot them through the game.
Re: Illusory Walls
I'm almost at the end and found not a single illusionary wall. Good riddance to them, they were a sad artifact of the dark ages, designed to confuse the manual-mappers.

I found an invisible wall..but I'm not sure if that's a bug or something i just haven't figured out yet
