The name generators will be useful.
Depending on the theme of the mod, I would suggest creating entirely original names.
Too many fantasy games have Scandinavian, Celtic, or Anglo-Saxon influenced names, which I feel aren't original.
Names like Kuldar, Grax, Nalvar, Rigaar, Norenin, Cranook the Destroyer etc. seem generic and reek of a 'Fantasy RPG'.
I created random names with influences from anywhere I could find. Perhaps try names that aren't phonetically easy to pronounce, that don't always contain a consonant followed by a vowel, or are a random mix of various cultures (Croation-Vietnamese - Vjekoslav Duong).
Randomise the order or spelling to create a unique name.

I agree with almost everything you've written, Slayer82.
I try to avoid a name that sounds too much like western culture or that reminds of any language we have ever heard of.
Also it shouldn't be a name of a company or one that is already used in a game or elsewhere.
I also wouldn't like to give our opponent a name that you don't know how to say or that is in any other way complicated.
Not easy all in all.

Oh, my... a lot of time since the last update.
At the moment the last modder who has to review his room is owning the mainfile. When Diarmuid has finished his fixings only three rooms have left. As far as I see it's up to me then to work on them, therefore The cube and Azel are lost in space and Eleven Warrior has given me the task.
Meanwhile several other things where invented - the Intro is starting to get shape and an spooky apparition by AndakRainor, too. And a lot, lot of other things...
Concerning the name of the villain: Isaac and me are currently re-working the appearance of him. If we can do what we are planning it will be very surprising. Because of that probably a completly other name for our bad mage will be needed. We will see...
I hope during october we will reach a state where "first final testings" can start. Will become interessting...

One more update.
Meanwhile a lot of stuff had been added. And some parts for the mainstory are finished also.
All rooms except one are revised and prepared for gametesting. The one, that it missing, is the one of Azel. He still is not popped up in the forum again so I will fix a few things in the next days.
I will also edit the public parts of the cemetary and catacombe level (the last that have to be) and will finally implement a spot that functions as a hub with some fast travel.
And a few other things are still under development.
When we start gametesting (which I still hope will beginn at the end of this month) we will have to find a way to communicate bugs and other issues that we find. Sure we can do it here in the forum but I would like to have it taking place at a more "secret" spot. Maybe I can ask the moderators if we can open a closed group here.
There is also still the Trello board, were we already discuss some things and issues. I don't know if all the others are interested to participate in it, but this board would be another possibility.

I think the Trello page is probably fine for this. We can start a public bug thread on the forum after the first public release. We'll get a month's bug testing in three days, and find all sorts of issues that we were never able (or fortunate enough) to find before releasing it.
