I have not been here for along time in this thread im sorry.
John took my room and changed it to his needs and it was destroyed. Now it has been destroyed even more wow this is what you call your own room. My simple little room compared to everyone else's has been modified to 2 people likes. One John, Two THOMS. I don't know what I did wrong ffs.
Minmay said to me there are no props in it, it's crap. I said to Minmay John said to me not to add to much I will add what is needed and now 3 people have killed my simple room wow man.
My room what room? This is why I stopped replying to this Thread. It was altered to much and it lost it's identity.

Please, Eleven Warrior, calm down.
As I said meanwhile in the PM I've sent you, it's a misunderstanding that this is the state of your room you have to live with.
I don't know in what condition it was once, but of course you can alter it again until it is in a shape that you will call 'yours'.
ATM I'm not at home but on the beginning of next week I will give you the link to the then latest file and some suggestions (about the current state - maybe we both have the same thoughts what should be reworked). Then you can do whatever you want.
And please be fair: The only thing I've changed in your room is that I swapped the Tomb-tileset to the Temple-tileset. Nothing else was done by me...

You changed the room secretly, without permission, and without reason. How the hell is that fair? Eleven Warrior has no obligation to kiss your ass.

The sources are all available in dropbox for anyone to check out any versions. Anyone dissatisified with THOMs (or any other editors) work can go back to old versions and start over fix it all up and do a better job? Anyone?
My 2 cents:
- Thom has been straight forward with all (my) room changes to me.
- I'm grateful that someone is dedicated to finish the project.
- It's a bit harsh to start complaining about changes to your rooms when the MOD has been on ice for what? 2 years?! Yeah it sucks, but if there have been problems with a room and it has been abandoned by the developer for years... I'm glad someones trying to do something too get this finished! I'm sure many changes have had reasons and even if not, it could have been handled gracefully by asking to revert changes when it happen (years ago?) (or do it yourself) this mod is not going to be finished by itself.
- Sure a good change log would be welcomed with each version but as it seems not many cared, I can understand leaving it out as it is a bit of a chore when doing mass tweaking.
- Seriously I'm glad if something becomes finished in the end.
- We have to give the overseer power, or we will be round-robining forever if changes/tweaks/bugfixes are only allowed for each room by its room dev.
Please THOM keep up the good work so we get this finished.

I don't remember who all were part of ORRR2 but I remember Diarmuid as overseer for ORRR2 doing lots of changes to all rooms (at least both mine) without any communication (he added stuff, even secret locations and tweaked lots of stuff). Didn't hear any complaints or communication about the changes back then... however I might not have been inner core dev cirle of ORRR2 (they had skype channel and more I guess)

Funny story... When Boyflea first played the ORRR2, he could not figure out how to enter his own room; Diarmuid had (necessarily) replaced the door with a non-functional one—on purpose; and added a back door into it nearby.aaneton wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 9:32 pm P.S. Sorry for not responding for a while. As I said earlier I'm not t at home this week and it's sometimes not easy for me to find a moment.

It's sad that the only case in which I changed something in a room without agreement resulted in such a confusion. Eleven Warrior is very unhappy with the state of his room (which I wasn't aware of and of what in whole I'm not responsible for). I'm in contact with him and still hope to get him back to the project.
I've erased the Tomb-tileset because it was stated in the very early guidelines for ORRR3 modders that it's out. I don't know when that was skipped but it already resulted in having nearly nowhere in the mod a Tomb-object. I want to save memory so I've once again skipped it. Probably it would have been more wise to wait with the swapping until I got in contact with Eleven Warrior. But he didn't respond to my message for two months so I got a bit impatient.
Concerning the changelog I promise to handle it with more care from now on.
And, minmay: "kissing asses" is not the conversation level I want to have in this project.

- replaced several castle-bridge-elements with dungeon-bridge-elements
- replaced some normal castle-pillars with a shorter 3m version
- replaced the tomb tileset gates with temple tileset gates
- several minor cosmetics
- revised the dispense of items
HALL OF QUEENS (aaneton)
- added a new object that emits the red pushblock-floor-light to get a chequered floor also if the floorlights ar lit
- added several decoration objects like stools
- replaced several castle-bridge-elements with dungeon-bridge-elements
- added a surface component to the wall-bench
- added several missing pillars
- added a dungeon_ceiling_wall element at 26,13
- replaced the material of the two kinds of big crowns
- replaced an alcove by a wallhook to hold a note-item
- revised the dispense of items
Xanathar's Digs and Bogs Co.
- altered the plants in the overground area to fit with the common area.
- deleted the green bog fog
- revised the speech at the beginning. A function was already present to prevent the party from attacking the ratling while the dialogue is open. Works now.
- added the function to use the correct term in the speech "Tell us / tell me what you are doing, NOW!"
- adding a blocker object so that the mossy rockboulders is no longer missing an automap icon
- replaced the underground ladders at 20,4 and 22,6 that the Zarchtons cannot swim through them
- replaced several lanterns by witch-lanterns. added a new lantern object. added some floortriggers to lit the lanterns
not yet decided: to erase the bread and fish wild surge; to erase the blinding boots
