I dunno, it may be earlier, bare in mind the game is coming out early April AND were meant to be having 2 weeks to pre-order, it'll have to be announced soon for both to be true! :)

both Trine and The Whispered World can be found in the GOG forums, along with Legend of Grimrock, via Search in the form of a "hidden" -1 replies thread (see first post in this thread for an example).

Machinarium, Darwinia and Spacechem can not be found this way.

So maybe Trine and Whispered World and Legend of Grimrock are going to be released (T, WW) and given the possibility to being preordered (LoG) tomorrow, while the other three games are still "on the way" - as it is written in the gamespot article.

And the absence of Grimrock in the same article could be due to its status being a new game and any NDAs for it. Trine and Whispered World are already there, so there is no problem to publish their names in the article.

(:

how absolutely sweet! (: *hopes even more* (:

How very nice of them. I sign up with GOG and they give me 7 free games. They may be old games, but it's the thought that counts. :D

Those that are old members of GOG, how do you go on with patches for games, are they available from the GOG site or do you find them yourself?

sweet! :) the gamespot article was right:

gog.com:
"In case you hadn’t heard--or noticed!--we’ve spruced the place up! We’ve added great games from indie developers with preorders of dungeon-crawler Legend of Grimrock, and we have gorgeous platformer Trine and dreamlike adventure game The Whispered World new in the catalog today as well. Machinarium, Darwinia, and Spacechem are coming soon, and if you haven’t yet, be sure to read up about all of the new features on GOG.com today as well so you can see what exciting new things are here for you to do!"

what works, because they sell mainly old games ...

(thats why your free games are old ones, Dandy, but i guess you figured that out yourself (-;

and old games mostly don't have any more patches released today ... sometimes fan-patches are also integrated or linked to with a new release

in the case of newer games, there is only Witcher 2 as an example, they updatet their game to the new version. everybody who bought the game could also download the update, when it came out

Do you gain access to the extra's during pre-order? As wondered if worth the premium over developer order.
