Average Age ...
Re: Average Age ...
Just short of 50
Although I did get into gaming a bit late in life, I did play EoB. I am absolutely loving playing Grimrock on oldschool mode, drawing out my maps.

Seems I could be the oldest. I'll be 70 next month & have been a rpg & strategy gamer for 40+ years.
Loving the game though I do find the real time combat a little difficult (reflexes not what they used to be).

41 here. In this order: Mattel Intellivision, Colecovision, Commodore 64, IBM PCjr, ITT 8086 PC XT Clone, Commmodore Amiga 1000, Atari 1040ST, Commodore Amiga 500, Atari 1040STe, Commodore Amiga 2500HD, PC clones from there. There was a Timex Sinclair with 2k of RAM in the mix as well, but it did not stay long.

22. Much prefer the 'older' style RPGs/dungeon crawls. This is a breath of fresh air, imo.

41 and my first experience to this genre was either Wizardry or Ultima. My favorite game of this genre is Dungeon Hack; still have it on floppy disks. I purchased LOG because I'm a fan of the genre and to support independent games. I'm enjoying the game but surprised by some of the typical dungeon crawler features that are missing. One pleasant surprise, my 11 year old nephew likes it; did not think a dungeon crawler would have enough wow factor for todays kids.
