Hall of... holes

Post by awesome »

I'm stuck on level like this:

Image

I totaly don't know how to solve this... sorry guys... this crap. I simply hate puzzles, in which everything is based on the mega rapid fapping into WSAD and trying to memorize the path :x Anyone know solution like WSWA(blah blah blah)ASDWA...?

It would be awesome to solve this stupid puzzle, however whole game is kinda awsome, but some puzzles are just stupid - game should be based on thinking, not on Tetris.

I think.

I love puzzles like this! I gives you a great visual, plus some variety. Remember even Myst and Riven had timed puzzles...

WAIT! if you S here, something goods is bound to happen!
W,W,A.

basically like a snail, making two loops

What i really do recommend you is to activate the mechanism, and study it... activate it may times, until you memorize it's movement.

Hate to tell you this bud, but this is a memorization puzzle, which requires your brain to solve. Thinking is an important factor here.

Nope. You are using here only memory-part of your brain... You are using something called "thinking" when you have big room, many items (keys or others), many leavers or buttons and you must find a clue how to solve the problem.

this puzzle is single-handedly spoiling the game for me... i'm not that nimble with the keyboard. I have the feeling i won't progress here for ages.

mostly i just mess the turn key with the movement ones.
did they really had to make it SO LONG and non optional? :|

well back to trying it over and over again.

For this one, I don't think you need any turn keys. Memorise the movement you'll need beforehand (you can watch from afar). Maybe make a note on paper somewhere then go for it. It's a bit...disorientating going backwards into what could be a drop. But not turning saves a lot of time.

seriously?
not to be mean but it's not even that fast. so long? it's like 20 steps.
just pull the lever, watch the pattern, do it multiple times if you have to. then just use the cardinals if you can't handle turning.

seriously guys. you have 3 "stepping stones" at any given time to fumble around, and they dont even move too fast. i just had to watch the sequence two times because
SpoilerShow
the lever reverts it
then I was ready to give it a go... succeeded in one shot. it's seriously not that hard. just focus on the WASD, forget the Q and E keys for a minute.
