I haven't had a chance to write in awhile because I was busy, but how do I enter the Elemental Tower? I don't remember any ladders around that side of the lake that is opposite the Outpost.

Thanks..
thats the last place you want to enter. You will reach it in late-game, when bridge near the Watchtower is repaired (from here you can then exit to Highsnow, or east side of the Outpost Area)

Of course.... :)

The "Pay the Price" is money on the table, right? I tried it but it didn't work.

Thanks!

- more tips added

Is 3h a big update, as I've played several hours of 3g?
Had an interesting happenstance:

Rat boss telefragged by another rat
Like the mummy puzzle replacement.

nah, definitely not a big upgrade, I have just corrected one issue (so far only one player reported it)- due to the open-world player was allowed to explore the Nethelen Ruins at the start of the game and that cause problem later on... so I just limit this option till certain game progress in 3h version.

the telefrags are something which belongs even to original Log, so no big issue from my point, if player could use the engine of game for its own use I am fine with that :)

I finally made it to the roof of the Elemental Tower!

Unfortunately, I'm stuck on the boss battles... I gave my paladin 100% fire resistance but the swarms still eventually destroy him.

I need help...

Anyway, after I bet this game, I want to play your prequel mod for Grimrock 1 because I have been very impressed with Eye of Atlantis.

Thanks :)

Hi Vectrex. Which one ? the last one on the roof ? Or the previous one with the magma golems ? Both are quite hard. The golem ones is generally harder, but luckily you can always run around the room, refreshing your party and resurrecting the dead ones. Get rid off the slimes first.

The "final"roof fight is easy from my view - you have enough time to destroy one or two portals before elementals start attacking. Use your wizard best spell to destroying the portals and boosted warriors attack of course. Do not try fight the elements it is waste of the time, just concentrate on the portals. You need keep Valtharion alive, so he always cast the resurrection spell to resurrect the dead ones, before next wave arrive.

tips:
- Enough money to buy healing crystals (Rock golem shop in Conwill)/ upgraded mana potions (Elunes shop). Treasure discovery is a must. Sell all what yo do not need.
- casting fire shield with your wizard is necessary
- Paladin with resurrection spell is necessary
- if you have complet Torchbearer set, casting the Might spell will help greatly
- dragon armor is perfect, there is possibility to have even two Dragon Armor (but at least one is a must)
- there is lots of items providing fire resistance, some of it could be crafted
- vitality / strength potion should go to Valtharion. Equip him with rabbit talismans as well. With Holy hammer if he is boosted, he could do around 500 damage critical, destroying almost one portal.
- any potion boost are great (especially speed potion make your dps 50% more effective)
- Inner Fire spell effect is similar to the Rage potion

I can't seem to find the frozen etherweed. I've combed the entire pale village map!

I don't think my characters are prepared enough for the final battle yet... So, I need to backtrack on some of the side quests I missed.

#1. I don't understand the "Obelisks." I think I only found one of the treasures from their instructions. If you could help me to clarify how to read them properly I would appreciate it. Is there a map of where to dig?

#2. There is a closed gate on the east side of the "Pale Village" where the zombies were around. How do I unlock it?

#3. There are two rooms in the "Tomb of the Sleeper" that I can't open. The first door has a button but it won't open. The other door has a table, but I don't know what to put on the table to make it open.

#4 Is there a place I can buy "chest keys?"

#5. Where is the Dragon root?

I love this game so much! Keep up the good work....

Thanks.
