Level 6: Trapdoor by mages entrance

Post by sd1612 »

Has anyone figured out how to close this?
Also, the hallway with the fireball-
SpoilerShow
has a secret button which opens a small door in it with another secret button. Anyone figure out what this opens? I hear a door open but can't tell which one.

The hallway has two buttons, both open a room to dodge the fireball into. One of the rooms has a button that opens a wall from the other room, stairs going up :P

I just can't figure this out.

This is advice for trapdoor with the face-thingy behind, right? My mage can't cast fire spells and the fire bombs I throw only have enough range to explode on the pressure plate that triggers the face to shoot a fireball (I tried to both throw them by dragging and by letting one of my guys throw them). I even tried throwing the Fire Bomb at the fireball itself, throwing a rock first and the bomb second (and vice versa), throwing the fire bomb while falling down into the pit and replacing the fire bomb with a frost bomb. I am absolutely stumped and have no idea how to close the trapdoor. Am I missing something?

There's a Fire Sword in an alcove if you walk past the Mage's Entrance and to the end of that corridor with the pressure plate.
It shoots Fireballs.
