Hello,
I currently run an iMac with Yosemite 10.11.1
Both games crash quite early on, say after a few minutes of play.
They show the same behavior : Both games just close with no warning, no error message, and no Apple crash message.
The 1st one is Steam version, 2nd one is Gog version.
Any help welcome.

Hadn't had a chance to try OSX10.11 yet but i got a feeling that the same problem causes those crashes. Maybe some insight can be found in the logfile written by LoG 2. Please do the following:
- right-click LoG 2 in your Steam library and select "properties" from the menu
- goto tab "local files" and click "search local files" to bring up the games' installation folder
- switch the finder window to column mode
- scroll to the left until you see a folder named "Almost Human"
- follow that folder to the "Legend of Grimrock 2" folder
- open grimrock.log there with a text editor and post it's content here

If all else fails, you can always play the Windows version under Wine with http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/clatoo wrote:Hello,

Hello,
Still having the same issue.
I searched the web and found this thread (I kid you not) before noticing I started it !
By the way, LOG games don't crash to desktop, they make my Mac reboot.
I am now on 10.11.2
So I installed the GOG version of LOG 2 and got to the Grimrock.log file, which is pretty useless :
Anything else I can do ?
Other games are crashing as well, which did not on my older Mac.
This pointed to a faulty graphic card, but I ran stress tests on it yesterday and it worked flawlessly.
The other game is Armello.
I am going to post its log on their forum.
Is there a way to get more details out of your log file ?
As for going through Wine, it's a no go.
Armello crashes under bootcamp / windows 10 as well.
Will try with LOG.
By the way, I never get to finish LOG 1 and did not want to spoil the 2.
I had to in order to provide a log file.
The beginning is just breathtaking, Thank you for such an amazingly good looking and smooth game !
Thanks for your help
Kindest Regards,
Clatoo

Re: MAC - OS X 10.11.1 - Both LOG crash to desktop
The GTX 675MX is a notebook GPU so your Mac is prolly a MacBook.clatoo wrote:By the way, LOG games don't crash to desktop, they make my Mac reboot.
My take: your Mac crashes/resets/reboots due to
either overheating (CPU, GPU or both)
or a weak PSU that can't provide enough power; a GTX 675MX can demand up to 100 watts and your CPU might want another 75.
Since your Mac crashes and not the game you won't find anything in the log.
You already got V-Sync enabled so the GTX should not render more fps then needed. Make sure your Mac's air ducts and fans are free and clean for best possible cooling.
