I am back doing Jean Bart testament hunt right now... I am hunting down 7 now the one which is surrounded by water and some wooden fortress that is rotting.
I have not used blue gem yet. Idk how to use it.
BTW, whenever you escape from dragons then you are strong enough to fight with ogres, lol.

Testament is very good hint to its location. I found it by accident. Think in the context (jean bart, pirate, wooder fortress, water, testament, last destination, digging ...). You probably wont remember such location, but it is recognizable when you see it.
About potion - if I remember correct then I got there also accidentally. Hidden place to click on.

is the wooden fortress still surrounded by water? And is it North as in in Rhun area or just north of rocky canyon?

Still completely stumped. I dug in every place which had water too. North is hard to know since the map goes NE.
