I'm at 22/21. When I take a step north, the game teleports me to "Candles Tower". I've walked over this square before, so I have no idea what activated the invisible teleporter.

Is it Edenia Woods? The coordinates don't match: no trigger at 22/21 (forest trail near healing crystal)... Perhaps it's a party hook added in some place (and normally removed but...) before: so, where were you before?? Edenia Woods is very quiet, particularly this place (neither triggers at all except the obvious one near the crystal, nor invisibles teleporters...).Zo Kath Ra wrote:Edenia Woods:SpoilerShowI'm at 22/21. Now I need a hint for the "Octaedron" level:

There are two stone faces.
One of them says "Two faces of death / One for the creatures: / I am torment and end"
I figured out that he's referring to skulls.
Put one on each altar, and the gates open near the sign that says "Creatures of the four Elements are waiting for me".
Then there's the other stone face that says "Two faces of death / One for the creators: / I am instrument and mutation"
I have no idea what that could be referring to.
Swords are instruments of death, but putting one on an altar doesn't do anything.
I also tried a bone necklace, a shovel (because gravediggers), a rope (because hanging), but nothing worked.

You have to find four figurines of Death, ie skeletons figurines. One hint: examine carefully Sunken Forest, and you will find the first.

Some news of the front...
First, I precise that it's only a beta version (or less??) because I have not made enough tests,... But you know, when a place is too familiar to you, you become blind to corner's bugs.
Thanks to the replies, particularly of Zo Kath Ra, much of the bugs are easy to correct once pointed out, essentially clipping or glitch problems (heighmap and elevations issues for the most), invisible walls missing and so on.
Capacity to move almost freely implies that the player can miss essentials parts of the story, running in a dead end without a single thought on what to do next...
So I add some initials clues.
I have also reduced the number of some monsters, although their heavy presence in some areas is a part of the story (and alternatives solutions may be found by the player)
On memory usage, I have removed or replaced a bunch of textures (more then 15 Mo on the dat file; it weight now 150 Mo). As I have said before, personally I haven't had any memory problem at this time, but perhaps it depends on configuration and OS.
I decided to made a new complete test (it can't be "complete", but I will try
) before uploading the resulting version, so, my friends, you have to wait some days more...
As soon as the version is ready, I shall send you the downloading link.

During the last month, I have made numerous corrections and some improvements: graphical, texts and bugs corrections, some side quests added. So I have had to test all the mod three times from beginning to the end... Played with high resolution and textures , game don't crash and saving process works fine.
With a new party (and all the soluces
) playing time is above 18 hours, and the party reach the 15th level at the end.
I send now a download link to whose who have already asked for and I call some others volunteers to test the mod before the public release.
