Custom Portrait specs

Post by Eldur »

Just throwing in a question... I didn't do that in the first game, but I thought about using the rest of the waiting time to create some char portraits (probably just some out of other games like IWD as some of them fit extremely well to the characters of my imagination) and use these instead of the default ones.
So I'd like to know what size they have to be :)
And maybe even the format... but saving a lossless bmp into any other format is a matter of seconds anyway :D

128 x 128 TGA. The filenames have to end with _male.tga or _female.tga.

Oh so this time around they'll be pre-defined on gender? That'll be helpful, now I won't be creating a new character and be worrying if they're set to the correct gender.
Will other underscores interfere with this? or does the game only read the very last bit?

For example, would tumblr_mg6rz7hoKP1ruc976o4_500_female be an okay filename?
