How do I run this program? L.O.G.

I paid for this game and downloaded it 5.6.2013. Used the Ubuntu software centre. When I clicked on the LOG icon that installed on the left, it gave a few blinks and then - nothing.

I received one email acknowledging purchase but nothing else.

Where can I find instructions on how to get this game running? I have checked some of the posts on this forum, however I do not have a "key" or any idea or instructions for "steam". Also very little idea of what I am doing.

Did you install the AMD Catalyst drivers for your Linux installation?

Try to start it from terminal and see if there's some kind of error message.
