Menu's not showing fully on 800*600 windowed mode
Hello everybody,
I'm trying to run Legend of Grimrock on windowed mode, 800*600, so I editted the grimrock.cfg to do that. Now when I start a new game and try to create characters, the menu is not showed fully, like part of it is cut out.
Is there an option to just scale the whole game down to 800*600?
Thanks.

Maybe you could create your party and get it all set up in a higher resolution, then change it to 800x600

The game menus do not scale so to display them completly they require a minimum screen/window height. Due to this the graphic options do not offer resolutions with a height below 700 pixel.
BUT since you plan to play the game windowed .. why not increase the window height a bit until your party is created?

Yea, I can do that, but it'd do that for every single menu in the game, well, nevermind, I'll play on 1024*768, thanks anyway.Komag wrote:Maybe you could create your party and get it all set up in a higher resolution, then change it to 800x600

Load and save menu can be scrolled, in-game stuff (is mostly) correctly scaled. So, you should be fine with once doing it.shohamh wrote:Yea, I can do that, but it'd do that for every single menu in the game, well, nevermind, I'll play on 1024*768, thanks anyway.Komag wrote:Maybe you could create your party and get it all set up in a higher resolution, then change it to 800x600
This problem is reported , maybe in a future patch version the last widgets will be rendered resolution independend too (will happen when LOG got mobil devices support

When the game runs for the first time, it ALWAYS sets 800x600 screen mode. It is done on purpose, so that the game runs on every computer. After you run the game for the first time, you can set higher resolution: Click Menu, then Options then Graphic Settings and there you can select higher screen resolution as well as adjust other visual options.

Hardly. LoG's minimum required resolution is 1024x768 (4:3) or 1280x720 (16:9). The game won't offer or choose anything below that by itself because it would prevent you from reaching the "Apply" button of the Options menu.Janine02 wrote:When the game runs for the first time, it ALWAYS sets 800x600 screen mode.
