Re: Creating Cinematics tutorial
thanks for this tutorial. But... is there any way you can transfer making an intro / ending from Log1 ? I mean just pictures with text etc. Making video is quite hard for many modders (speaking for myself at least) Unfortunately no. During the hectic time when we were developing Grimrock 2, we didn...

Re: Grimrock 2 Mac Steam Beta
Hmm, I now get an Install button, which I clicked and it then turned into a Play button. However, it says "Up to date" but there are no files in the game's Steam folder at all (Legend of Grimrock 2 is an empty folder - even after trying to Validate files). It is definitely using the mac_b...

Creating Cinematics tutorial
Hello everyone! Here's a guide on how to add videos to your mods: http://www.grimrock.net/modding/creating-cinematics/
Try it out and let me know if it works like it should! And take note of the bolded bit on the bottom of the guide too
Sorry that it took a while to get the tutorial up

Re: Grimrock 2 Mac Steam Beta
Has anyone else managed to get this to work? I've unlocked the mac_beta branch on Steam using the password, but whatever I do I cannot get the setting to stick. I have done the following in both the release and the beta Steam client. (1) Right Click Grimrock 2 and hit Properties. (2) On the Beta ta...

Re: grimrock.net offline
The server is located in the US. Only our website (basically everything under grimrock.net) is hosted there so if anything happens to the server, it won't affect anything vital.

Re: grimrock.net offline
There was something very weird going on with our server over at Amazon. At some point during the sat-sun night (in our timezone) the CPU of our server instance shot to 100% and stayed there. Restarting the instance didn't help but stopping and then starting it did the trick. When starting/stopping, ...

Re: Puzzle Bugged at Entrance to Tomb of Guardian
Thanks, I got it to reproduce! Seems like I just wasn't quick enough in my first tries.
The bug will be patched in the next released version (for the curious: I replaced the timer with delayedCalls).

Re: Puzzle Bugged at Entrance to Tomb of Guardian
I can't reproduce the bug here. I've tried putting items on and off the plate by clicking rapidly, as well as combining moving with picking up an item. If someone could post more detailed step-by-step instructions, I could take a closer look at the issue

Re: [Script] Fill void with walls
Instead of the dungeon walls, I suggest you to try out "forest_elevation_edge". It's the walls which are used on the river banks and such so it should be compatible with forest and beach ground.

Yes, you can use imported and/or modified Grimrock 1 assets in Grimrock 2 mods.
