So, the question is: Where are mobs that re-spawn so I can farm them like a lunatic? Also, I heard about some mobs on Level 6 re-spawning that drop consumables - can anybody verify that?
I am absolutely serious about this. If there is any way to reach max level in this dungeon I will do that!

one thing thrown weapons will never do (aside from bombs) is Allow your mage to enchant your arrows with elements for variable situations, so you dont get caught with your pants down when fire revenants show up and all you have is a fire mage I fail to see how having your fire mage enchanting arrow...

I still think that damage has a bit to do with it. My human fighter levels faster than my minotaur fighter and I think that's because he deals more damage over time, compared to the minotaur. Mage light spell all the way!
Food or rather the food meter also runs out time based. If you rest you'll soon see that it depletes quicker. That's why going to the blue stones is sometimes more desirable.

I hope for something like that. It would be fun to start a new game with your party, facing more and harder monsters but in change being able to max out some stats.

It's a trade between the two options. You can go mêlée + throwing weapons or you can go pure missile. With the first you have backstabbing, with the latter you have enchanted arrows/bolts.

Food management is big part of the game, like torchlight management and add to the feel of the game.
