Re: Level 10, stuck in a room after picking up the red gem?
Sigh... I think I have a similar bug. In the same area. I have access to the stairs up, the pressure plate near the statue, a red gem, and no keys. I got a key and put it in a slot, which exposed those flying wasps. Now I can't get anywhere and can't accomplish anything a walkthrough says to do. Tho...

Re: Are bows worth it?
Problem is that, to my knowledge, . Doesn't seem worth it.

Are bows worth it?
I'm a huge fan of archer characters so I made one and was excited to finally find a bow. The problem is that after a lot of throwing star + dagger use, I can't see how a bow, that uses both slots, is even worth it? Is there something about how they work I'm missing? In terms of numbers, throwing sta...

Classic mode save?
I did not choose classic mode for this playthrough, saving it for my next one when the map is a biiit more clear in my head. So I'm not sure if this option was part of Classic Mode. Saving at crystals and disabling manual save anywhere. Is that possible? I think that should be an option! This game r...

Re: It's released on steam, but...
Excuse me? What is your fucking problem? I paid for this, I want what I paid for. How about you go fuck yourself? I wish I could give you some rep or something. I am SO sick of the 'complainers about complainers'. Truly an Internet phenomena. Nobody would be so rude and utterly pointlessly mean in ...

Confirmation bias. You don't notice the 10 million things that don't go wrong.drillerman wrote:Steam really do know how to F**k things up sometimes. I suppose that's the trouble with large companies.

Re: It's released on steam, but...
It's almost as if I own an object that is the "Preorder" but not the actual game. ie. I could buy the actual game and it would sit there beside the Preorder object in my list.
Just thinking about the programming rationale behind this bug.

Re: Spiders? D:
People really need to accept the existence of arachnophobia. You may never understand it, but accept that people have it. Despite how irrational it is to you, you can't just tell someone that they're digital spiders or just to suck it up. Interesting how we laud the Grimrock Guys for the mouse contr...

Two thoughts after seeing lots of videos (3D and Tablet)
I hate the 3D gimmick in movies. It rarely adds to the movie. I hate the gimmick in TV and in games these days too. But for some reason, Grimrock feels like the one and only game where 3D would actually work very well. WIth the way enemies attack, and the simplicity of the dungeon, I think it would ...

Haha you just couldn't resist. I chortled a bit.
At least we're in the era of 1920x1200 being standard. Jaggies aren't really pronounced on anything but small geometry like spider legs and tendrils.
