Are you serious? That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard, it's not the same at all. You could simply have the option to enable turn-based whether YOU like it or not, while ingame (Example press T and it goes to turn-based). Why would it bother you if a player was able to do that? Grimrock is desgined as a Dungeon Master -Clone NOT a Wizardry -Clone. No turn based combat. No secret switch discovery massages because of skill checks. End of discussion. I can't imagine why you'd want to do that on your first play-through though when you could be out discovering the island! See it this way, you can 'wolf down' a gala dinner or slowly eat it with relish. As I said, when I get bored with this I can start new with normal difficult any time and 'just' ...
