Ah, I get it now. I needed to get the thing to shoot a fireball back down the hallway again to get the platforms back up.

I kept looking for a switch on the wrong side of the pits. No wonder I couldn't find it.

So I managed to clear the entirety of the Crystal Mines, except for one small area: the absolute Northeasternmost point of the Crystal Mine Entrance. I've run out of food in the catacombs and cemetary. Do I need to double back and search areas I've been in? Does new food grow?

The top area is all gated and I can't get through to drop anything on the pressure plates though. What am I missing?

EDIT: Good grief. You have to literally drop it; you can't throw it. Got the treasure but is that it? How do I then open that door upstairs?

I cannot destroy all the vases; there are ones behind a gate... clearly I am missing something!

I've tried throwing all sorts of things and they just appear in the bottom of the pit.

So I shoot things into the teleporter and destroy vases. So what? Do I ever get to the other side? What am I missing?

After the river I went north to Sleet Island and then into the cemetary. Clearly there are things I need to find to go back to open certain doors and such, so I realize this isn't linear. What order do you advise I should visit places? I tried to go to the bog but was blocked by something that took ...
