On the main sewers map there is a wooden door underwater in the reservoir area, in the bottom right corner of the map. How do I open this door? I've explored the entire map but haven't found anything, so I guess it's a secret button?

How many blue light sources have you discovered so far? How many trees? Try to find a spot where both are near each other.

I eventually did it with a shuriken. All the other items must have been too heavy.

I think that's supposed to be the edge of the world. If you look at the area directly west of it (Shipwreck Beach) that's where the ocean begins.

I think locations are randomized. On my first playthrough I got the rogue helm from the buried chest in Twigroot (with the cryptic sign). On my current playthrough I instead got the +1 armor +1 strength ring.
