Grimrock

I'd like to start a new game of the first Grimrock and use portraits from Grimrock 2. I poked around in the folders and files but can't find the new portraits. I'm guessing they're part of another file or something. Anyone know a way to get at them? I suppose I could just screenshot them and make my...

Question about a room I can't find my way into. The room is in the lower left corner of the Tomb Underground area. I think I need to drop down form the level above at the puzzle that leads to the claymore. But I can't figure out how to get the floor to open up without having the warp zone on top of ...

I think I dropped the somewhere and it seems that I need it to get into the pyramid. Is my only solution to hopefully go back and find it wherever I left it, or is there another way in?

Bumping for some help with the same item, I can't seem to find an underwater cave in this area. The only thing I can see is the "hold your breath" puzzle. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Got it, thanks! I think I was looking slightly off on the map and thought there was no gap above the ledge to drop down from.

I see what I think is the Crystal leg armor on a small ledge on the middle level of the Crystal Mines, but I can't find any way to get to them.
