Can this thread be made a bit clearer as to the fact that it is to do with running the game in Wine under Linux. Your previous post says you are attempting to install with Wineskin. Have you tried something else, like PlayOnMac with Wine 1.7.28? It may sound strange but I have different results wit...

Update on Wine compatibility:

I did experience a d3d error while it was attempting to load a texture and the game crashed. I was several hours into the game before this happened though.

Confirming that LoGII works fine with wine version 1.7.28. I am using PlayOnLinux with the unsupported installer on Ubuntu 14.04. It launched directly into full screen, full resolution with no problems at all. I was able to create my party and play the game.
