Re: Games like Grimrock
I ve found 3 first-person dungeon crawler this year: Vaporum, Drawngeon: Dungeons of Ink and Paper and Dungeon of Dragon Knight. While Vaporum and Drawngeon are trying to add something new into the genre, DODK sticks to retro and is the most grimrock-like. I have played DODK for several hours, so f...

Re: Games like Grimrock
I have played Vaporum, pretty nice crawler too, but not party one, I would recommend it, I put it on my "Dungeon crrawler" flash drive alongside Grimrocks. Also I have watched some streams and videos about Dungeon of the dragon knight, basic pazzles looks similar to Grimrock ones, but easi...

Re: Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest
One question to the developers: after watching trailer I have feeling that gameplay is similar to XCOM one is it true?

Re: Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest
Skyrim,Witcher 3, Horizon Zero Dawn had also procedurally generated world but artists and writers modified part of it for narrative purposes. I don't see any harm of using procedural generated content. http://stevivor.com/news/cd-projekt-red-the-world-of-the-witcher-3-is-not-procedurally-generated/...

Re: Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest
I have to say it's been a little surprising to me how the procedurally generated content seems to be dividing people. With the hype around https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Man's_Sky and the subsequent disappointment, it's actually not surprising that people would be skeptical about procedurally gen...

Re: Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest
I think Petri summed it up briefly in the post above yours: A video is probably better than a thousand words... Yes this must clarify much sinse from Petri's post I didnt understand main idea (most likely because I didnt play of those box games or Final fantasy, so i have no experience to make any ...

Re: Legend of Grimrock 3
I don't think a Grimrock 3 is coming guys. I am going leave it at that. Grimrock 2 is it. And unless AH wants to take time out and do an expansion or at least another patch for it, what we got now is all we will ever get. You are targeting to the unprotected heart, dear sir, your comment make me sa...

Re: Legend of Grimrock 3
Here's an idea - What if they went back to their roots and did a MASSIVE dungeon, where each floor was twice the size of the current ones (Aka, bigger maps per floor.) And it had the multi-floor support and the occassional cave and such. Here's another idea, maybe they do at least anything, at leas...
