I'd always get the Serpents first. Now that Falling is actually incredibly dangerous in this game. Not only do you take damage. but you can actually break your parties legs, and get stuck till you drop a lot of crap. I scripted all of The Lost Continent by myself (and it was indeed a lot of work), so I have the codes (and I think I realeased some of them as open source, maybe on nexus...), I will have to ...

I don't have anything against cats or other animals, but I just hate furries. :D *raises an index finger* ........ o.o *points to the Ratlings* And I doubt the ratlings will be enemies with catfolk. They just might not be seeing eye to eye. Like the steam community with Russians for some reason.
