I'm so pleased we've got that sorted out.

Re: How to transfer LOG to another computer?

'Expire' is a fairly common alternative term for 'die'. Here's a typical online explanation:

So, my computer is about to 'die'. Or expire. Or pass on\over. Or cease to function. Become moribund.

OK?

And thanks for your explanation :D

How to transfer LOG to another computer?

I'm about 2\3 through the game and my computer is about to expire.

How can I move the game to the new PC I'm building? Both machines are W7 Ultimate.

Thanks :-)

Re: Help needed with party setup

Sir Tawmis, thanks for replying.

I think I've got enough info to get under way now.

Cheers :-)

Re: Legend of Grimrock Guide (Book)

OK, it's 27 months after Sir Tawmis' post about the Guidebook idea, but I reckon it'd be a go-er as a downloadable PDF. Maybe the content could be added by registered LOG members, like a Wiki-ish kind of thing? And maybe, downloaders would have to contribute a coupla dollars? I dunno. I can only say...

Re: Help needed with party setup

PSY, thanks for replying. No, I don't think I simply clicked on 'ROGUE' and left it at that. But I've just now tried a new experimental party, and this time I can see Dodge, Unarmed Combat and Assassination etc. So that's cool. But what about "(maybe 10 points in Athetics as well)" and &qu...

Help needed with party setup

I've just started playing LOG1 and would like to use a party setup that I found in another area of this forum. However, being a little dumb, I couldn't make sense of what the OP said. I did ask for clarification but I guess he\she was too busy with the game to reply :-) Here's what they said about t...

Re: Is this party viable?

Happyemi and Rodpulsar: I'm about to begin LOG1 and I'd like to start with the party you describe. I started setting it up yesterday but couldn't see how to duplicate your configurations. For example "Lizard Rogue, skilled in Dodge and unarmed combat (maybe 8 points in Assassination as well)&qu...

Re: Purchasing LOG1 and LOG2 package-a question

Dr.Disaster, you've been most helpful. Thank you very much. Locally (NZ) the 750 Ti is a $250 outlay. The 760 is around $350, which is currently a little out of my range. So I'll take your advice and give LOG2 a run with the GTX 560 Ti. Actually, the card was only a GTX 560 to begin with. Then, 26-2...

Re: Purchasing LOG1 and LOG2 package-a question

Thanks again. I was beginning to worry: I read somewhere that I need a GeForce 8800 (or equivalent) and that would be right out of my league :-)

Later: Just checked with the Boss and it looks like I can maybe get a GeForce 750 Ti. Would that be adequate?

Thanks for your help :-)
