Ahem, I guys ^^ Mmmmh, I seem seen that 2.2.4 update will be ( perhaps already ) up for StandAlone version .... yep, but "perhaps" because in the news, you mention 2.1.18 -> 2.2.4 ( I suppose it's only for MAC version ) .... and the last update was 2.1.17. So, is your patch only for MAC or...

Hum .... just for record, you can easely modify the "clickable" surface smaller ... in my assets, I made these to all the door, but if you just modify the clickable size to 1,1,1 ( for example ) centered on the door ... you'll be able to pass some items through the portcullis ;)

I've almost finished to sort and reorganise all definitions that JohnW extracted with his script. Ok, there's not the materials, tilesets and recipes definitions, no models or *.dds either ( for models, you have the 1.3.3 assets extractor for blender ), but you can acces to : Armours, Ceilings, Cine...
