Re: Minimap

AH already stated in it's dev blog that they experimented with a mini-map and found it to be too much distration from actual gameplay. :? I think it's far more distracting having to constantly go to the map screen to get your bearings. Come on, AH! At least give the option . Let us decide for ourse...

Minimap

After having a quick dungeon run with Dungeon Hack, I was reminded how handy a minimap is and how much I miss it when it's not available. Would it be possible to have that included in LoG2? One that you could toggle on/off.

I guess my sense of direction is just terrible.

Difficulty levels

Please make more difficulty settings. LoG1 wasn't really easy on easy. There should be a setting for people who have poor reflexes.

Steam Greenlight?

Is LoG2 going to be on Greenlight, or is it going straight to Steam?

Re: Recs for 1st person grid-based RPGs

Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos. Like the game above, it's a Dungeon Master clone. An oldie, but still pretty and very easy to get into. Perfect for newbies as well. You can buy this from http://www.gog.com. Lands of Lore:ToC is one of the hardest dungeon crawlers I've ever played ~and I'm a fan...

Recs for 1st person grid-based RPGs

I love first person grid-based RPGs. I buy almost all that get released for the sake of support, so I've gone through quite a few of them. Some are great, some are good, some are... not so good. Here's my list of recommendations for those who have developed a taste for gridders, but don't know where...

Re: Steampunk Dungeon Crawler - Vaporum

I just visited the website. I like the idea of upgrading your suit. About the visual style, I like hearing you're not limiting yourself to the most recognizable clichés of steampunk. There are so many visually interesting things from around the same time period that it frustrates me to no end everyo...

Re: Steampunk Dungeon Crawler - Vaporum

I'm just always sceptical when one thing is made and then people follow up with similiar versions. ...Like, say, Grimrock? LoG looks special when it stands alone right now, but the truth is that it's just a HD version of Dungeon Master, which itself was just one of the many griddes from the past. I...
