Re: Paralyzed by character creation
It took me a few days to commit to a party after I had tried several compositions, some which seemed fine, and others which felt pretty gimpy. As much as I liked the more exotic mixes, what I wound up with is an all human party (Barbarian and Alchemist up front, and two wizards in the back. Frontlin...

[quote]- I could still try places out near the savepoints. I would have liked something like in Dark Souls that you lose at least something for loading from crystals for the millionth time. I could just try a bossfight for so many times that no-one died and had to use as little amount of bottles as ...

Re: Anyone find a way to cheese the mutation?
Thanks for checking that out Brisby. As you saw from the post I made on the alchemist that you commented on, I was planning on two save-scummed maximized rat hulks, and 2 save-scum maximized rat mages (or 1 mage, +1 magic using- alchemist). Now I'm not so sure on what party to build, even though mut...

Re: Will patches be save-game compatible?
In case you guys haven't seen the patch notes, and other posts on other sites from the devs, here is the deal: Vitality and Willpower ARE working as intended, it's just improperly labeled. You only get starting bonuses to HP/energy from those respective stats, not on each subsequent level up. HOWEVE...

Re: Anyone find a way to cheese the mutation?
Naw, cheat engine is a slippery slope. I'd rather keep it all self-contained within this game, even if it is borderline like trying to cheese the mutation mechanic

Thanks for the replies, and thanks for the heads up Dematto. That's how I felt the first time I found out making potions required a skill point! Like, darn, didn't see that coming! I was wanting to reroll anyway. Also, to be clear, when you say, "set before 3," do you mean area 3, or in ne...

Re: Anyone find a way to cheese the mutation?
Ha. Looks like we have been thinking along the same lines. Mutation rats were going to be my next experiment, as I've been on the fence about taking my previous experimental parties further into the game. I gotta admit, the trade-offs of gains and losses (big or small) in character creation of this ...

Alchemist herb-growing? Location of a magic catalyst? etc.
Hi all. Without spoiling the exact location of it or how to get it, can anyone please tell me the first area I can find with a caster orb/wand/staff in it? Ie, Beach = area 1, woods = area 2, and so forth. I ask because I was debating on re-rolling with an alchemist in the party for the herb growing...

Re: Will patches be save-game compatible?
Ah. I got ya. Thanks. I also just read the other post about how it is either bugged, or at the least poorly labeled.
Thank you. Looks like I might wait for a patch before I start digging too far into the game...
