I remember when playing Bard's Tale 3 on my C64 that I wrote every single word down beside the self made dungeon map in order not to miss something which I could have needed to solve a puzzle. Hell this was work... :)

As I remember in Pool of Radiance the beginning das also very challenging - running down the first dungeon to do a fight and run back home to save :)

The problem is - "running" is a bit vague - maybe it's only "walkin" or crawling ;) I did the hardware test yesterday and got 18 fps with full details and 1920x1080 (Intel core duo 3ghz + ATI hd3600) but playing with this framerate would probably not be very funny. This was also ...

Yes the funny this is - it runs very nice in a dosbox under my current win xp system. Game is rather simple until i got stuck on the end boss dargoth. i always got killed or pushed down from the clouds. so i ran back down to the dinosours and leveled my party - i had to finish that game again or am ...
