Grimrock

Got a strange problem. Used the cross key in the wrong place and am now really stuck. Tried to spawn with the console but keep getting unidentified item, console works cause something simple like a rock pops right up. Any way to figure out the correct console entry?

I got thru the 'secret code' by pure luck, anybody figure out what the pattern was??

Thanks for the fireball tip, was carrying too much stuff.
One more question:

GREAT dungeon Drakkan. I must have missed something, on Tower Level one just beyond the brass door that was opened by trapping the 3 skeletons there is a hallway in which a fireball kills the entire party. It can't be outrun and I cant find any way to avoid it. Where did I go wrong? Thanks.
