Re: Steam workshop
I wouldn't think they would go the Steam Workshop route considering it would be of no use to their customers that didn't get it on Steam. Their effort would be better spent getting a universal mod distribution point setup.

Re: Reluctantly have to quit this game at Level 4
The problem is that this is no longer the day when Wizardry was the only game in town or it was cutting edge. To compete for attention and dollars now and today, games need a mass appeal. Grimmrock won't sell to people who are used to more these days.... the main audience is people like me - who pl...

Re: Suggestion for old school mode
Providing you with the coordinates completely defeats the point of old school mode. Might as well just turn the map on. Of course you don't know where you are after going through the teleporter...you shouldn't! Also, how was the compass useless? Me thinks you must have been "cheating" a li...

By just moving on. All Iron Doors are optional, none of them have anything behind them except a treasure of some kind.Bily wrote:Here's the video of the puzzle I can't complete: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbt9GszFIa8
So you say I can skip that puzzle and get to the next level - how?

Re: Brilliant game up til Level 9. I won't be finishing it.
I don't know why, but I just hate endless respawning. It's simply annoying. I didn't hate LoG because of it, but I just couldn't believe they had to use it in the game. Although my first playthrough took almost 20 hours (yes, twenty, I guess I was looking for secrets pretty intensively :)), I didn'...

Re: Brilliant game up til Level 9. I won't be finishing it.
He didn't say anything about the game being too hard. His point was a valid one, which was that the rules of the game changed drastically once the player reached level 9. Now, you can Hi-five each other over your various levels of condescension (he said something negative so he must be a child or W...

Re: Brilliant game up til Level 9. I won't be finishing it.
Did these guys completely miss the fact that the dino area had doors you can close? I went through it a couple times and didn't have to kill more than one or two each time. It's like 20 steps to run through it, it's not a huge area. Also, respawning mobs and starving seem to be mutually exclusive pr...

Re: hmm, graph paper or automap...
form better sentences and stop being bitter that i choose to make use of technology when you choose to hold on to nostalgia. i never said graphing by hand was wrong, nor did i say it is a bad thing. i just said i dont do it because it is an unnecessary amount of work or involvement. also, what you ...

Re: hmm, graph paper or automap...
Toorum had plenty of paper. where did it come from? reduce, reuse, recycle, i say. You know the game is not supposed to be "work" right? Correlating it to such is a broken analogy and has nothing to do with why some of us choose to map manually. By that same logic, you might as well just ...
