Its perfectly fine. Steam achievements are de facto standard nowadays for PC gaming. If you dont use them - you may as well just foget about them and polish the game more/issue patches/etc

Some games on Steam can be just played even when Steam itself is not running essentially having zero drm. Will it be like that with LoG? I'm trying to figure out wherever i should get it on Steam or on GoG? I like the latter of its no-DRM policy, but having 200+ games on Steam pulls me towards it. ...
