Wow, that sounds really good! With such a large project I would imagine tons and tons of bugs to squash and gameplay to balance for quite a while though, but I can be patient, and still have a big backlog of other games to play in the mean time (in my very limited free time).

I'm in fact working on this exact thing this past week in my own game. in all projectile or melee attacks I send the attacker id, and it checks for teams and "rivals" (who has been hit by who) to see where to direct next attacks. It's fun to see monster turn on each other! :twisted: I stil...

Wow. 80k words is the size of a novel! And that's a lot of code - unless someone has made a game himself, it's impossible to appreciate what goes into that.

Wow, getting back into it I see. Horrible confession - I never finished Grimrock 2 myself! :o I'm happily anticipating restarting sometime and experiencing the entire thing, and I may end up referencing this thread if I get terribly stuck, we'll see.

Wow, this looks great! The limited animations give it a gritty comic-book feel which really works well I think. Congrats on reaching the final stage of this long journey, releasing a long developed full-fledged game!
