I had that, only the minotaur rogue at the back was missiles.

I'd say go pure missile and str with your backrow rogue.
Going with ice mainly for your wizard is good imho. I went with that as a main stat, and a bit of light and eh.. can't remember the name but the non elemental one.

Think I played around 6-10 hours (been so long I can't remember). I found it really mediocre in the beginning but once you get to the first big city thing it really picks up. Unfortunately my HDD crashed at that point and the saves were lost, so I never bothered to go back and play it again.

Or just fight at the door and rest after every fight. Diseases wear off (so to speak) after a while.
