Re: Oh noes, it's happening again... Vert- !
This thread is derailing quickly... Is it really an issue? 20 years ago when we all had 17 inch CRT's it was normal but today I don't know anybody who is still running resolutions below 1024x768. Indeed, 20 years ago widescreen gaming did not even exist. And then... slowly but steadily... it became ...

Re: Oh noes, it's happening again... Vert- !
Not to beat a dead horse, but it puzzles me that the same people who brought an old genre to modern technology are turning a deaf ear to this kind of issues

Re: Oh noes, it's happening again... Vert- !
The UI still works in a similar fashion :? Okay, let me be a bit more specific. The fixed vertical FOV is great to accomodate all sorts of displays, so thanks for that. However the UI scaling remains a problem on wider-than-HD displays. Here's what the game looks like on a triple-screen display... ...

That's great, thank you.
Were there further UI adjustments made to accomodate Eyefinity/Surround by any chance...?

Oh noes, it's happening again... [FOV & UI concerns]
The Compatibility Test shows a truncated picture on ultra-wide 21/9 and triple-screen displays. Flashback 3 years and a half ago: http://www.grimrock.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=97 The question is not really what "looks fine", it's just that a fixed vertical FOV is generally a better...

Re: Party frames
Sorry, but no. I'm also left handed and fortunately it's not a problem (at least for me) that the controls are on the right side. We had some talk about doing some left right switch, but we didn't prioritize it that high so it got cut out of the game. We may look about it if we have time and patch ...

Request: centered interface (for Eyefinity/Surround)
The game looks great on Eyefinity/Surround displays, but gameplay is a different story... http://hfr-rehost.net/preview/http://self/pic/708b8fc3e1f3a963168d1eb61b114c9505f1a7d1.jpeg With the interface sticking to the right edge of the display, LoG being a mouse-centric game is barely playable. What'...
