I see what you mean with the current definitions.. but if anything should be considered a quintessential "Dungeon Crawler", it should be this game and games like Stonkeep (basically, the torchlight crawlers).
Maybe the other games need a new category!

Re: Just a Grimrock Story
Nice!
Now, just finish it to about 50 pages, send it to the devs, they can include it as a book, then some lazy a$$ can use it for their book report. Not speaking from experience or anything...

Re: Set Bonus?
I agree with this idea... and I don't understand the strong opposition to it. There should be a bonus of some sort if you complete the set... whatever it is. It should encourage you to try to find them all and keep them together. This isn't just a Diablo thing. Many many RPGs have done this since th...

Real life examples: I lol'd. I'm sorry if expression "real life" sounds awkward. After all, English is not my native language :-D No no. It was fine. The term is used often and everyone here knew what you meant, including myself. I was just being an ass... no insult intended... and lettin...

Re: Mod concept: Reverse Grimrock
I think this would be kick ass! But I love twisted ideas. You start all high and mighty... a Hero dropped in a dungeon. Then, your equipment degrades, you start to lose energy because you are only eating scraps, you start to go a little insane and lose sense of how to cast spells. By the end, you ca...

Arcana.
Best dungeon crawl / medieval RPG music.
I just grabbed this link at random, because almost all the songs would fit perfectly.

On a somewhat related note... I found their ice spell to be significantly faster than the others.

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
No doubt this has been said in the 11 pages somewhere, but since I'm late to the party... and obviously the DD at this point...
I think the Devs didn't create the whole system of leveling up for just this one game... but I have no proof of this.

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
One request. If you guys are posting significant news in regards to the updates, can you put it in the first post? It is pretty hard to follow the Devs posts in here. Sure, that's what I've been doing, although the "updates" are mainly edits to todo and done lists. Oh, awesome then. I did...
