Uh, you got it backwards. Creating custom levels isn't modding, but altering existing things is.

Come on guys, please stop those fancy creative ideas with game file patching, texture blending etc... trust me, this will not work. And I don't mean technically. What I mean is: It will work for a minor number of modders, but it will not support and vitalize a real modding community, which is a big ...

In todays games, it is required to build upon the original content and modify it, because the amount of work that must go into new-content-from-scratch is massive. I really think they should change their mind. I don't know when they were writing down those rules, maybe before they thought about doing an editor? I don't know many games with such restrictions. They must change this to vitalize the modding community.

Great to see the editor in action! And it reminds me of all those great editors out there, e.g. for Doom, or Unreal etc... with those commons things like script entities (I think you will be able to visually connect an object with an script entity to execute it), an inspector windows etc. After watc...
