Re: Old Games
You do have a good point but I see businesses like that to be very specialists and are quite rare. Still a valid point though so maybe I should say an old game is one that isn't found in retail shops

Re: Old Games
I'm only 15 and the oldest and first game I have played was halo. So now 10 or 11 years later bought the anniversary and compared the graphics and I thought halo was the best looking game ever at the time. It just goes to show the change after 10 years. Also the jump from dungeon master to halo (or ...

Re: Old Games
Yesterday, I've read about another old school RPG remake called Chaos Chronicles. Those guys seem to have the same ambitions like the devs of Grimrock. They have their own devblog ( http://www.chaos-chronicles.com ) with many references to traditional RPG games of the 80s like Bard's Tale, Ultima, ...

Re: Old Games
With the new editor coming out do you think that people will want to recreate these old games using it so it will be similar to these great classic dungeon crawlers?

Re: Old Games
I didn't have a clue to do for the character selection so I just did what I knew and learned from legend of Grimrock and had 2 fighters at the front and a rogue and mage at the back. Never thought about drawing a map, just used to auto mapping. I am terrible at DM :). Will try but don't think just o...

Re: Old Games
Thanks for the help. Played on the first Dungeon Master and after 15 minutes I found out that it is very hard
I don't know how you can possibly follow what you have done and where you have been. But I thought that it was worth a try. Cheers for the help.

Old Games
I wasn't around to play late 80's and 90's games so when I here about games like dungeon master and eye of the beholder I feel like I am missing out on something. Are these games really that good, if so are they better than Legend of Grimrock. Also is there anyway that I can possibly play these game...

Re: Just wanted to say thanks, + question.
You get it as an extra anyway. Just find where it was downloaded or type into the search on the C: (or where installed) "Legend of Grimrock Soundtrack" and click on it. It is a very good soundtrack and it is brilliant that the Almost Human Team give it to you as an extra.
