Re: [MOD] - Eye of the Atlantis - RELEASED version 2b

Great mod so far! I am really enjoying it! But I need help and I don't know where else to turn... I was pretty inebriated at the end of last night and I forgot what my quest details were today. The last thing I remember doing was returning with the second piece of the map, visiting the city counsel...

Re: [MOD] - Eye of the Atlantis - version 3i

Guild Quest - On the Guard You get a flute. You need whistle on it on a certain spot during the night. Go back to the Conwill area and search for the balance symbol on the western side of the Shrine building. Balance symbol is drawn on the path and if you play with lower graphic resolution it could...

Hissssa wrote:If you don't take fire as your main element the best attack spell is only 2 runes if you are a slow clicker.

Same with a fast clicker - still two runes. Your clicking speed has no effect on the number of runes required for a spell.

Re: Bloodwych mod

Eh no you dont, there is no client-server in bloodwych, we're talking about split-screen here. If someone made a game as a spiritual successor to bloodwych, I doubt they would be so faithful as to force people to play from the same console. The makers would certainly want to provide network connect...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

]I never said it was impossible. What I said was that it wouldn't be any easier to understand/work with than code, considering all the options it needs to support. Sure, people may think GUIs are more convenient than code, but provide enough options, and that's no longer true at all. I agree with t...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

I played with RTC for a few months creating my own dungeons, and I often found myself wanting to work with the configuration code in a nice syntax editor, instead of doing everything with the Gui. Importing objects one by one and associating them to each other using the Gui was unbearably tedious. ...

I agree Bloodwych needs a spiritual successor, but this is not an idea for a Grimrock mod, it's an idea for a new game.

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

Admittedly, even ZDoom required extensive scripting for its puzzles. I just hope the "put object X in niche" puzzles don't require too much coding, so that I can give hints in Russian, transliterated in Latin letters, so you have to go look it up on google before you know what item you ne...
