Just finished my first playthrough and I have to give LoG three thumbs-up. People are rightfully remembering the old school crawlers while talking about this one, but I really think LoG is more than just a nostaligic return to an old genre. Oh yea, Rainbird is in a full party. Minotaur Macer, Human Archer, and Human Pyromaniac. After I finish my first play-through I might try a solo or duo run.

I am pretty sure that the Ogres have a fast turning attack that can slam the party if the circumstances are right.
